Piastra vibrante - vibrating plate
Posso fare “suonare” una lastra di metallo sfregandola con l’archetto di un violino.
Se cospargo la lastra di polvere, le vibrazioni la faranno volare via. In alcuni punti la polvere rimane ferma: questo vuol dire che lì la lastra non si muove.....
Toccando la lastra in un punto e sfregando in un altro, si ottengono strani disegni....
I can make a "sound" by touching a metal slab with the bow of violino.

Se l'ambulanza invece si allontana, allora le onde si allargheranno, e te ne arriveranno di meno....

As an ambulance approaches or passes you, the sound of its siren changes.
If the ambulance comes towards you, the wavelengths crowd together, and you detect more wavelengths in the same time. So, the pitch or frequency of the sound is higher.
Instead, if the ambulance moves away from you, the wavelengths spread, and you detect less wavelengths in the same time. In this case, the pitch or frequency of the sound is lower.

i bastoni della pioggia - rain sticks
Sono piante di cactus essiccate originarie del Cile. internamente sono cavi e riempiti con dei piccoli semini. La superficie interna non è liscia ma costellata ma sottili spine. capovolgendo il bastone i semini urtano sulle innumerevoli spine producendo un caratteristico rumore simile alla pioggia battente.
Rain sticks, originally from Chile, are traditionally made from tall, dead, cacti-really tubes. Sharp thorns are hammered into the tube and small stones or seeds are added. When the tube is turned over, the stones or seeds fall back along the tube striking the thorns and producing a sound very similar to that of rain.

Questo che presentiamo è un videogioco molto semplice i cui comandi sono impartiti con la voce. Modulando in intensità e in tono la voce si puo' far muovere in alto e in basso e da destra a sinistra, una farfalla, con lo scopo di portarla a posarsi sui vari fiori.
attenti però a non stare troppo tempo tempo a terra, le lucertole non perdonano!
