Come tradizione ormai consolidata, si rinnova l'offerta del laboratorio scientifico promosso da LuS in collaborazione con il
Progetto Virgo (il grande interferometro per
la rivelazione delle onde gravitazionali, costruito nell'osservatorio EGO, presso Cascina).
Saranno organizzati degli incontri in cui un piccolo gruppo di non pił di 10 studenti di un istituto
medio superiore, eventualmente accompagnati da uno o due docenti, costruirą con le proprie mani un
interferometro laser sotto la guida di un ricercatore del Progetto Virgo.
Alla fine dell'incontro gli studenti potranno portare nel loro istituto lo strumento costruito.

 Once Again in This edition LuS repeat the experiences of Science Labs supported
by Virgo Project (the large interferometer built on the EGO
observatory site, near Cascina, to detect gravitational waves).
We will organize workshops where a small group of no more than 10 high school students, possibly
with one or two teachers, will build a laser interferometer. The workshops will be led by a scientist.
At the end of the work, the students shall bring the interferometer to their school for
further experimentations.
